Ditch Disposable is a campus-wide campaign led by the HKU Sustainability Office to reduce plastic waste by targeting plastic disposables across campus. We banned disposable plastic water bottles of 1 litre or below in 2017, and now we have moved on to straws. Starting from 3 Sept 2018, HKU banned single use plastic straws in centrally managed catering outlets. Join us to Ditch Disposable, Choose Reusable. Be part of it!
