Web Stories provide faculties and departments with an effective method to highlight cutting-edge research and expert opinions, academic achievements, and promote university events, both before and after they occur. These visually engaging multimedia stories allow users to include different types of material – text, images, video and more – in a succinct yet impactful format that boosts awareness of the depth and calibre of work being done at the university and helps engages a wider audience. Its streamlined creation process requires no technical expertise, while offering versatile content layouts.

There are two types of Web Stories that you can create:

  • General Stories – an ideal mechanism to showcase research breakthroughs or accomplishments of faculty and students. Selected General Stories will be featured on the homepage as a highlight or a hero banner (and in some cases shared to our social media pages), increasing their visibility to all online visitors.
  • Event Stories – enables the promotion of upcoming events to build anticipation and can be changed to a General Story afterwards to continue post-event promotion. Please click here for the step-by-step guide specifically for Event Stories.
