⾹港⼤學物理學系系主任（暫任）張霜教授率領的研究團隊，夥拍國家納⽶科學中⼼戴慶團隊、英國帝國理⼯學院 John Pendry 爵⼠的團隊及美國柏克萊加州⼤學團隊，合作提出了「多頻率組合複頻波激發超透鏡成像理論機制通過虛擬增益來抵消光系統裏的固有損耗，成功提⾼超透鏡的成像分辨率約⼀個量級。
